Veldhoen + Company, a boutique global consultancy firm, seeks a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and curious Global Content Specialist with 5+ years’ experience. This full-time role is a chance to contribute to a growing business in a dynamic market, influence the field of the future of work, and work in a global marketing team that supports regional teams of professional consultants who guide our clients on transformational journeys to new ways of working.  

As our Global Content Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and managing the development of content marketing assets on a global scale. You will need to develop compelling copy that resonates with our target personas and contributes to us meeting ambitious growth targets.

Your Key Responsibilities 

  • Takes the lead on creation of marketing content assets, such as developing email nurture campaigns, customer case studies, blogs and whitepapers, video scripts, and punchy ad copy to promote our thought leadership content and key messages.  
  • You will work closely with our Global Comms & Events Lead to provide copy-editing and content support for promotional content assets, speaker talking points at events or in interviews, and for social media posts and engagement. 
  • This role will be predominantly focused on content creation but there will also be an element of managing agencies and internal contributors to deliver key content assets, including videos/animations. 
  • You’ll contribute to the global content calendar with input from SEO strategy, Global Marketing and Strategy Pillar teams. 
  • Ensuring that every piece of content published is consistent with our messaging, brand and engages our target personas. 
  • Writing for different audiences, from business leaders and budget holders to more technical roles, you will need to be able to create content focused on each of our core personas. 
  • You’ll work with the Global Marketing and Strategic Pillar teams to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to uncover the insights and stories we need to tell.  

Who You Are 

  • 5+ years content writing experience in B2B tech or services 
  • Native English-speaker with strong copywriting skills  
  • We need someone who will always be pushing the team to try new formats/approaches to content 
  • Looking for a full-time role in a growing global team
  • Comfortable working in cross-cultural teams with both sensitivity and openness to diverse work cultures and viewpoints. 
  • Comfortable working in a virtual-first way, but also excited about occasionally collaborating in-person with colleagues to strengthen connections. 

What You Will Bring 

  • Experience creating written content in a range of formats – from long-form white papers to sales 1-pagers, website landing pages and social media posts. 
  • Expertise in marketing copywriting for short-form content such as ad copy and email marketing 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong ability to listen to differing voices and viewpoints – you will need to distill different messages from stakeholders across the globe, be sensitive to cultural nuance, and synthesise them into amazing copy. 
  • Strong project management skills, to manage agencies and internal stakeholders to deliver a high quality of work to deadline  
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to deliver feedback effectively  
  • Resourceful – you will be part of a growing Global Marketing team that needs to be smart with time and resources 

Nice-to-Haves (preferred but not required):  

  • Experience with marketing for professional services OR experience in the data and analytics industry 
  • Experience in managing the development of video assets 
  • Experience with CRM systems (we work with HubSpot) 
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with new ways of working: e.g. workplace strategy, and/or organizational change and development, activity-based working 
  • Located near one of our local teams (Netherlands (Randstad), Düsseldorf, Stockholm, UK, New York) - we primarily work remotely as a distributed team, but we do like to get together in-person at least once a month. 
  • Advanced degree (bachelor or master) in marketing or communications

  • Salary range of €55k-69k / US$60k-70k / £40-50k (for full-time) + team performance bonus (annual)
