Head of SEO & Content

Job Description

We are looking for a suitable candidate to head up both SEO and manage content for our SaaS platform. The candidate MUST have excellent knowledge and experience with all aspects of SEO and be able to manage a team as the company grows.

The candidate must be a self-disciplined individual with an ambitious mindset who is driven by a strong personal desire to accomplish meaningful, important goals to the best of their ability.

This is a full time remote position, although we do have an office in Dubai, UAE and would be willing to relocate suitable candidates after a certain period should it make sense.

Working hours are mostly flexible depending on location however 8 hours work per day is required and it is expected that you are available to liaise with other employees and team members in different time-zones. 

Responsibilities

• Create and execute an SEO plan.
• Perform ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities.
• Team HR, budgets, KPIs and management reporting.
• Working hands-on with daily SEO tasks to support a group of international SEO professionals.
• Plan and make sure website is technically SEO friendly (site speed, images, text etc).
• Advise on correct URL structure.
• Manage link building team and review links which are being built on an ongoing basis.
• Manage the creation of high quality content and keep it up to date (Blog posts, articles, case studies, ebooks).
• Optimise copy and landing pages for search engines. 
• Manage a team of writers and designers to produce high quality, engaging and useful content.

Requirements

• Over 5 years working experience in SEO.
• Excellent knowledge of Google Search Console and AHREFS or SEMRUSH.
