Content Marketing Manager

This is a cool opportunity for a number of reasons. Great Question was created to help companies create better relationships with their customers. That is a worthy mission and one that will be both fun and challenging to pursue. You have a great narrative baked right into the founding story, which sets the marketing team setup for success.
Here are three things that stand out about this role:
- You'll have direct relationships with your customers. Great Question helps companies learn about its customers, so naturally you'll "dog food" the product and get to know your own customers. This means you'll actually be on calls with customers—you'll have the chance to deeply understand their challenges, then create solutions via content.
- "Writing is a craft." I really appreciate that Ned called out writing as a craft. This is a strong signal that great writing, strong narrative and customer-first content will be the engine that drives content forward. SEO will play a role, but it's traffic is not the primary goal in these early days.
- Be the first marketing hire. Ned and his cofounder have been working together for 10 years. They've started three companies and had three exits. So you'll be on the ground floor of a brand new company (launched in February 2021) but surrounded by folks who've done this before. It's a cool opportunity to work with experienced entrepreneurs in a startup environment.
