This is a legitimate, senior-level role. This person will manage a team and spend a lot of time working on strategy. We're excited about it because high-level roles like this aren't available all that often. Also, Docsend has proven its commitment to content marketing. Here are three things that really stand out about this role:
- A proven content marketing track record. There is a big difference between working at a company that dabbles in content versus one that has already proven content drives growth. The new content marketing manager will execute that playbook and the director will establish new ones. The product is quite flexible, so there's room to be creative even though this role will demand an analytical person. As Docsend establishes playbooks in more verticals, there will be room to hire folks to run those playbooks.
- A real commitment to data. Docsend has created a data warehouse that the marketing team uses to find insights and supporting evidence for content and other marketing materials. You ask the right questions and the business intelligence team can find the answers.
This is the real deal—a senior-level role and venture-backed and fast-growing company.
Docsend is a secure way to send files. Companies use it to send pitch decks, sales assets, financial info and so much more. It has raised ~$15 million and has about 15,000 customers. It relies entirely on inbound marketing and is cash-flow positive.
