About the role

Lexer is the Customer Data and Experience Platform of choice for retail and consumer brands like Rip Curl, Supergoop!, Igloo, and Sur La Table. We are currently seeking an experienced Brand Marketing and Communications leader to drive our brand strategy through content and design. Lexer's marketing team is data-driven and impact-focused, bringing brand, communications, product marketing, and demand generation together to drive meaningful outcomes for the organization.

The ideal candidate thinks big picture, has a proven track record of revenue-driving brand marketing strategies, and has experience managing teams responsible for positioning, messaging, content, SEO, brand identity, and creative assets. 

This position will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing.

What is the role?

  • Build and execute against quarterly campaign strategy, content calendars, and OMGs (Objectives & Measurable Goals) and report performance to leadership. 
  • Drive organic revenue growth through brand campaign strategies, including SEO.
  • Own brand management and brand assets for the organization, including lexer.io, style guide, and tone guide.
  • Oversee the execution of Data Rockstar, Lexer’s retail brand and community, including new product launches, experience creation, and event strategy.
  • Manage and lead a global team of designers and marketers.
  • Provide oversight of editorial planning and content creation across owned and earned channels, including blog posts, PR, social media, and community.
  • Expand Lexer’s presence in the market as a thought leader through compelling content and PR campaigns.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Success, and Marketing leadership to continually evolve our GTM strategies.
  • Manage relationships, deliverables, and budgets for external contractors and agency partners.
