We’re looking for the writer of all writers, the storyteller to out-entertain them all, and an overall content genius. Too much to ask? We didn’t think so! We’re looking for a thoughtful, strategic, and creative thinker who sees Content Marketing as more than just writing words or publishing blog posts. In this position, you’ll be shaping our company story while also finding ways to establish Assembled as an authentic and credible (and helpful) thought leader. You’ll sit at the center of nearly everything, because words matter. This job is for the part-journalist, part-strategist who is hungry to build, lead, and write - a lot.

Role details

Things you’ll get to do:

  • Build out and manage our cross-channel, full-funnel content roadmap/editorial calendar, while also managing a team of freelancers and agency partners
  • Create lots and lots of content in the form of website copy, webinars, campaigns, long-form content, social posts, podcasts, and anything else you can dream up
  • Collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, and others to identify relevant topics that accelerate the buyer journey
  • Experiment in all the ways you have time and energy for, which includes new channels, mediums, topics, and formats
  • Play an active role in codifying our brand voice and tone, and educating others on how to execute in this style

Things we’d love for you to bring:

  • 5+ years of experience writing in the B2B space
  • Excellent writing and copy-editing skills
  • Top notch, world class writing and copy editing skills
  • Excellent language, grammar skills
  • A+ project management abilities
  • Comfort with traditional methods; excitement to try new/emerging areas
  • A little right brain, a little left brain - we love when creative meets data-driven!
