The Marketing Team’s mission is to serve as the voice of the customer at Orum, and be the voice of Orum in the market through compelling brand, messaging, and demand generating programs. We are a mix of the left brain and right brain, balancing strategic thinking and measurement with creativity and experimentation. We lead with curiosity and empathy in our interactions with our prospects, customers, partners, and colleagues. Beyond our work responsibilities, we are also hungry learners, cultural anthropologists, outdoor enthusiasts, musicians, and artists.

This Content Marketing Lead role is the first content role at Orum, and an early hire on the Marketing team, and an opportunity to accelerate your content career. The person in this role will report to the VP of Marketing, and have significant space to strategize, create, execute, and iterate. Our current content pillars are centered around subject matter expertise and Orum's proprietary data.

What You'll Do:

  • Prioritize, experiment, and lead the development of a range of content, including case studies, blogs, white papers, videos, that’s tailored to Orum’s audiences, media types, and channels
  • Work with VP of Marketing on content strategy and distribution plan in support of team and company goals; follow through with Marketing Ops and Sales Ops to understand and report on performance against objectives
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Sales Development, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Design teams, and external stakeholders and experts
  • Develop and manage a marketing content calendar informed by audience events, overall trends, and Orum initiatives
  • Source, write, and edit thought leadership and educational content, ensuring consistency of Orum's brand voice across multiple audiences

Requirements

  • You are an exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communicator and storyteller, and have a proven ability to make complex subjects clear and easy to understand
  • You're scrappy, and can find creative ways to re-purpose content to different channels and audiences given our objectives
  • You have 5+ years of experience creating and building content and campaigns to a B2B audience
  • You have expertise in tools and approaches to CMS, SEO, content distribution, content amplification, and measurement
  • Bonus: You have worked with B2B Sales audiences in previous roles
