Avive is taking a fresh approach to addressing this decades-old problem by bringing advanced AED technology to market, coupled with a first-of-its-kind platform solution to enable a quicker and more effective response. We believe that this unique combination of deploying advanced – yet still accessible – hardware, and novel software, has the potential to revolutionize out-of-hospital cardiac arrest response and massively impact SCA survival rates. 

About the Role: 

We are looking for a full-time Content & Communications Marketing Manager to help identify and execute content marketing opportunities to amplify our brand and drive qualified leads to our inbound and sales teams. We need an experienced self-starter who is willing to be a key part of successfully commercializing our technology!

What You Will Do: 

  • Work with our VP of Commercialization, Marketing Managers, designers, and other sales and marketing teammates to learn about our go-to-market strategy.
  • Plan and develop a comprehensive content strategy, covering all brand properties including our website, email communications, social media, and more!
  • Help brainstorm, produce, and publish content assets and copy from start to finish.
  • Help develop a consistent, friendly voice for the business and meticulously review and edit all new and existing copy to ensure cohesion.
  • Evaluate, update, and repurpose older content, as needed, to maximize its value.
  • Oversee all owned social media activities and accounts to drive industry and product awareness.
  • Help build out our content and communications team of specialists over time.

Who You Are: 

  • Someone who has at least 3-5 years of experience working on a fast-paced inbound marketing and content team with deep e-commerce experience. 
  • Creative and willing to share and test new ideas, but also data-driven.
  • Someone who can simplify complex topics for all audiences.
  • Someone who can write compelling, persuasive sales copy, as well as detailed step-by-step guides.
  • Curious and not afraid to introduce new ways of helping our team constantly improve based on your experience and ongoing learnings.
  • Flexible and patient. You know that new companies constantly grow and change, so today’s needs might look different tomorrow.
  • Someone who executes quickly. You’d prefer to test a new idea in market than spend months getting it “perfect.”
  • Someone who doesn’t feel that content is limited to just the written word, but sees the extension to video, animations, website calculators, and much more!
  • Someone willing to roll up their sleeves to find the talent and contributors required to meet deadlines. You’re also excited to directly pitch in by picking up the phone to conduct an interview or write a long-form blog post (we all wear multiple hats and do what it takes to get the job done!)
  • Someone comfortable finding, interviewing, and hiring contractors, consultants, and agencies that can help scale while managing a budget and KPIs to ensure adequate performance metrics are met.
  • Know the right questions to ask and offer ideas and solutions based on your experience to take customers from a lead to evangelizing customers.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with WordPress sites and intermediate-level HTML
  • Experience with HubSpot and other popular email marketing software is a plus
  • Experience with Asana or project management software
  • Knowledge of the different stages of a sales funnel and how different types of content can progress visitors through the buying journey
  • Experience working with creatives, contractors, and agencies
  • (Bonus) Experience storyboarding, filming, and even editing short videos
  • (Bonus) Willing to host, record, edit, and narrate company videos, webinars and “in-person” interviews
